New Years;

New Years was wonderful, just like I knew it would be. Alan & Jesse done wonderful, just like I knew they would!

Let's see: I have New Years resolutions, but they are lame. I have a wishlist for this year. More of a Prayer List.
But Here:

-I could be as close to God as possible.
-To practice my singing, and get better so I can sing for the Lord.
-I could maybe take up piano again, if Nikki would teach me.
-To lose weight with God's help, so I can feel better about myself.
-To stop caring what other's think of me. God made me, & I shouldn't care.
-To be more confident in myself. No used hiding who I really am from strangers.
-I could get braces, but I doubt.
-To spend as much time with my nephew that is absolutely possible!
-To stop fighting with my mom so much, she's not always going to be here.
-To become closer to my brothers, I want them to be my best friends.
-That they will accept me wanting to be their best friend and offer to do things with me.
-To possibly meet a good Godly guy, and maybe have a relationship (in God's hands all the way).
-To not be so dang shy.
-That my face didn't turn red when I get nervous or embarrassed.
-To make someone laugh everyday. Some random person.
-To read my Bible everyday.
-To not be scared of the future.
-Nikki and Wayne could have a baby.
-If God's will Nikki and Chad could have another one.
-My parents wouldn't treat me like I'm a child anymore. I'm almost 18.
-To start over with God, and forget about my past, because He did.
-Trish would get her wish and prayer to marry my brother, Andrew.
-To not feel as if I have to try so hard.
-To make my prayer life better: "you are as close to God as you want to be" -Jesse Carr
-To not cost my parents anymore ticket money and whatnot.
-To get a job that I enjoy.
-To not complain so much, it gets me nowhere and I have it alot better than most.
-To make good grades.
-Get my degree in special needs assisting. (maybe start working on my associates).
-Not to hang on to the word someday.
-To love and be loved.
-Learn something new everday.
-To learn more.
-To not take life for granted.
-Be a better witness, and lead someone to the Lord, again.
-Embrace everything God has ever given me and never take it for granted again.
-To please my dad better.
-To just be happy and give as big hugs as possible. you think that my list is long enough? I think so.. and you know what else? I think that God will answer them all & I'm sure that He will. "All things work for the good of those that love the Lord" & "With God all things are possible" & "I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me"....

AND!!! MY FAVORITE: -Philippians 4:11 "Not that I speak in respect of want but I have learned that whatsoever state I am; therewith to be content"

Wow, what a post Jamie. Way to go on the Wishlist/Prayer List. I don't think it was lame at all, you showed so much maturity in a lot of your requests. I am impressed with all the things that you are wanted to see God do for you and for all those you whole dear to you. On January 1, 2010 take a look back at your list and see what all God has done, and you will be really amazed. I stand amazed at all God is and all that He does for His children. I don't deserve any of His goodness, but He lets me enjoy it anyway. You are going thru all the normal stuff that teenage girls go thru, and don't think that we all did not go thru them,
because we did. But just know, that all the things we go through are only for our good and make us stronger and closer to the Lord. Stay sweet and close to Him and He will show you what He wants for your life.
In Christ
