Make Jesus your plate, not your broccoli.

This weekend our youth leader from church & her boys went to Momentum. It's this hugeo thing where they have bands & speakers @ the Comma here in Morganton. They said that it was so packed this year, that next year they are moving it to Hickory. I would have like to have gone but I had no idea what it was or where it was, but after hearing about it, I hope to go next year.

Anyways, there was this one speaker that our youth leader was talking about that was saying we have this plate that we call life and we have our meat & our potatoes that we pile on it that represents work, school, sports, friends, family, etc... & over there in the corner is the veggies. & they are over there because not many people like them so nobody gets a big serving of them & the broccoli represents Jesus. We try to make time for Him & fit Him into our schedule when it is convienent for US. I mean He died for us, come on. He was talking about how Jesus should be our life, how He should be our plate that we build things on like our work, sports, school, friends, family, etc...

Isn't that neat to think about? I thought so. Just because it's true. A cute little saying can go a long way.

I'm a total dork, because I still don't get it. But if you did, that's all that matters.
